Hazelton Leather Dog Bag

The Hazelton Dog Bag is crafted from leather sourced from our own organic cattle, raised on the pastures at Daylesford Farm in the Cotswolds. ​

This bag is designed for the comfort of both dog and owner when travelling together. With a supple and soft form, the shape ensures your dog can sit inside cosily when worn and when placed on the ground. Its size is perfectly suited to small breeds such as Terriers, Dachshunds and Shih Tzus.​

Finished with a sheepskin neck rest and removable sheepskin inner pad, the bag offers warmth and softness. The reversible inner pad can be flipped when muddy paws require a more practical surface. A removable leather leash provides added security, and padded straps ensure comfort when carrying. An embossed Bamford logo and a magnetic closure lend a clean, considered finish.​

In partnership with British Pasture Leather, we reclaim and repurpose our hides through a network of skilled British makers. Each hide is tanned in Bristol using a traditional vegetable tanning process, enriched with natural extracts of mimosa, chestnut and myrobalan to lend strength, depth and durability. The leather is then finished in Northampton and hand-crafted in Rutland, ensuring that every stage of its journey remains within the UK.​

This piece has travelled no more than 473 miles from pasture to final piece.​
