Merino doesn’t need to be washed after every wear as the fibre is naturally anti-bacterial and odour resistant. This significantly reduces the environmental impact of a product over its lifetime. We would advise to hang garments to air for a few hours in between wears instead.
- Use a gentle wool shampoo and a basin of lukewarm water
- Start by turning the Merino inside out if possible and gently immerse into the water, and squeeze – don’t rub – to refresh the fabric
- Rinse gently in cool clear water, before removing and gently squeeze the excess water - not wringing
- Reshape and lay flat on a towel to air-dry in a warm spot, away from direct sunlight
