Brand Content Editor

Bamford are looking for a Brand Content Editor to join our Marketing team, managing the creation of our customer-facing marketing copy with a focus on editorial-led pieces. You will be responsible for developing content for customer experiences and across marketing channels that reflect the brand's philosophy, tone of voice and positioning. You will work closely with the marketing, creative and product departments to make sure you align with overarching business strategy and perform effectively.

Main Responsibilities

• The role will play an essential point between creative, marketing and product departments with gathering product information and translating sustainability stories across channels

• Working closely with the Marketing and Creative teams to deliver Bamford editorial and copy across multiple marketing channels

• Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic and engagement that delivers sales and customer retention

• Collaborates across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives

• Manage Editorial calendar, workflow and deadlines

• Ideas about how to maximise our potential through the creation of content

• Convey brands philosophy, tone of voice and positioning

• Plan and execute Bamford Journal quarterly, press releases, look books, point of sale and other key editorial content

• Assist with producing copy for brand partner projects and campaigns

• Contribute to regular meetings and idea brainstorms with the Marketing and Creative teams

Essential Skills & Requirements

• A brand champion who believes wholeheartedly on the importance of brand and products in relation to the overall customer experience

• Experience of working across on and off-line marketing channels.

• A creative thinker with new ideas and enthusiasm

• Solid experience as a writer and editor, managing fast-changing deadlines

• Ability to proactively and calmly manage a changing workload effectively

• Excellent communicator and manager who can work well in a busy team

• Experience working in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment

• Immaculate attention to detail, ensuring copy output, grammar, and ideas are consistent and meet Bamford standards

• Able to handle rewrites, edits and critiquing from stakeholders

• Exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills

• Strong experience and a passion for lifestyle copywriting including fashion, beauty, sustainability and wellness

Club Manager – Bamford Warehouse Health Club

Our Bamford family is growing, and an exciting opportunity is available for a talented and passionate Club Manager to join our team.

Based at the beautiful Daylesford Farm in the Cotswolds, the ‘Warehouse’, a private members health club, is looking for an experienced and exceptional individual to take reigns of this exciting project.

The ‘Warehouse’ will consist of a state-of-the-art functional gym with exceptional personal trainers, remedial treatment rooms, cryotherapy chamber, group fitness studios, club lounge, in addition to stunning relaxation areas.

About the Role

As the Club Manager, you will be the proud face of the business an integral part of building the pre-opening management team with a focus on the structure, culture including values as well exceptional service standards throughout the entire business, recruitment and membership.

You will be responsible for the day to operation and quality of standards in this excellent multi-faceted business and the delivery of the highest levels of customer service to all members and guests.

Main responsibilities

• Lead, drive and take responsibility for all operational aspects of the Club including quality, team building, management and development, customer service, independent practitioners/contractors, personal training and events.

• Leading by example with passion for service quality and excellence across the entire ‘Warehouse’. You will ensure that service excellence is achieved and maintained at times.

• Implementing Club procedures and standards, whilst building an outstanding positive and supportive company culture.

• Managing P&L, working with the Managing Director and CFO to review and plan strategies to achieve agreed budgets.

• Managing the Membership team to achieve targets defined in the budget including new and renewal of memberships.

• Responsible for the service level performance of the club ensuring that finance and control procedures are implemented.

• You will lead a team responsible for the highest achievements in customer service and member interaction.

• Coordinate with key stakeholders at the Daylesford Events & F&B, Marketing, PR and the Bamford Haybarn Spa.

• Ensure that all standards for people, service, quality, cleanliness, health & safety, and ambience are met.

• Responsible for managing building maintenance and meeting compliance with all operational legislation especially Health & Safety.

Haybarn Spa & Massage Therapists (Full & Part time positions. Haybarn, Daylesford, Cotswolds)

About you

As a Spa Therapist, you will be required to perform the Bamford face and body treatment protocols after full training. You will also deliver other holistic therapies including Hot stones, Chakra’s and Crystals. Our environment is a beautiful, tranquil and healing space and all treatments reflect this and the Bamford philosophy. You will follow this philosophy to the highest professional standard.

Main responsibilities

• Undertake full assessment of clients’ requirements and suitability of treatments and products offered.

• Carry out Bamford treatments to the highest professional standard following full in-house training standards and procedures.

• Ensure exceptional familiarity with the all retail products and treatment and recommend to clients.

• Support the Spa Manager with any other ad-hoc duties
