Visual Merchandiser - Freelance

Bamford are looking for the support of an experienced Visual Merchandiser on an ongoing freelance basis, preferably 2-3 day per week. Primarily supporting our store at Daylesford Farm near Kingham, with occasional travel to our locations in Bicester and London.

About the role

We require a VM professional to inspire, design and bring to life our Bamford seasonal stories through windows and in-store displays with an expanding portfolio of bath & body, clothing and homeware. You will be able to deliver VM guidelines, bespoke projects and on budget instore executions. You’ll support our Retail teams with managing seasonal refresh, display moves, events & new projects. Delivering and maintaining standards between creative, marketing and product departments and showcasing sustainability stories across all channels.

• Assist the retail team to action department moves including re-merchandising new product, ranges and initiatives.

• Select product & organise window installations and displays, including maintenance and accurate records of stock movement to and from the stores.

• Sector visual innovations, being able to blend new ideas with the brand, and ultimately able to create and deliver exciting fresh displays.

Essential Skills & Requirements

• A full clean driving license with own car.

• Previous experience in VM within a related sector or interior design.

• Proactive, loads of initiative & calm under pressure.

• Excellent communication skills are key to this role, as you will be liaising several internal stakeholders.

About you

As a Sales Associate, you will be required to greet all clients and ensure they receive a 5* star service whilst in the store. Online Web Assistant - Bamford, Gloucestershire

Our Bamford family is growing, and we are looking for a talented and passionate Online Web Assistant to join the team here at The Bamford Barn, Daylesford Farm, Kingham, Cotswolds. This role will be a fulltime, fixed term contract, initially for a 6 month maternity cover. A generous target related commission structure. Will include working occasional weekends. (dependant on the needs of the business)To start asap.

About you

You will be joining a team that fulfils our on-line orders. You will be expected to learn and maintain a high level of product knowledge. You will be confident in working alone, as well as part of a passionate team.
Although full training will be given for this role, we do require that you are computer literate and confident to quickly learn new systems, as this is key to the role. It would ideally suit a candidate who has attention to detail and able to follow through processes accurately and efficiently.

Main responsibilities

• Taking ownership of fulfilling web orders and following through the online process from receiving orders, packing, processing the sale and managing stock.

• Very confident in communicating with customers via phone or email.

• Complete all transactions through the POS system in line with SOP.

• Complete accurate stock transfers & assist with regular stock checks.

• Pro-actively learn & maintain product knowledge.

Supply Chain Administrator (Mat Cover)

Our Bamford family is growing, and we are looking for an experienced and well a organised Supply Chain Administrator to join us at our Retail Operations team, at our head office in South Kensington. Maternity Leave – 9-month fixed term contract. Monday to Friday 9am-6pm.

About you

You will be assisting and supporting Retail Operations & Systems Manager with their daily schedule and projects by providing administrative support while being flexible to support production team when necessary. You will be accountable for all stock allocations as well as keeping good communication levels with all stores while frequently liaising with a number of internal and external parties including suppliers, warehouse and various department within the company. Good Microsoft Office skills are essential along with an understanding of supply chain systems. Ideally you will have supply chain, retail and a warehousing background.

Main responsibilities

• Monitor stock transaction and maintain inventory at all Bamford locations

• Manging allocations to all our Bamford stores

• Liasing with our production team on intake and updating allocation files.

• Communicating procedures to our retail staff

• Supporting stores with all replenishments

• Preparing stores for stocktakes

• Liasing with the warehouse on all stock queries

About you

As a Spa Therapist, you will be required to perform the Bamford face and body treatment protocols after full training. You will also deliver other holistic therapies including Hot stones, Chakra’s and Crystals. Our environment is a beautiful, tranquil and healing space and all treatments reflect this and the Bamford philosophy. You will follow this philosophy to the highest professional standard.

Main responsibilities

• Undertake full assessment of clients’ requirements and suitability of treatments and products offered.

• Carry out Bamford treatments to the highest professional standard following full in-house training standards and procedures.

• Ensure exceptional familiarity with the all retail products and treatment and recommend to clients.

• Support the Spa Manager with any other ad-hoc duties

Qualifications/Requirements

• A must: NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent (e.g. ITEC/BETEC/CIDESCO)

• Minimum 1/2 years spa experience

• A positive, enthusiastic and flexible individual with a can-do attitude

• A genuine interest and passion for wellness/well-being/holistic approach

• Good use of the English language, written and verbal
