Senior Spa Attendant – Bamford Wellness Spa Cotswolds

Our beautiful Bamford Wellness Spa is expanding, and we are looking for Senior Spa Attendant to join our team in the Cotswolds. With amazing career progression, we will train and develop you every step of the way to be the best that you can be with the opportunity to build your career with us. We are looking for

We are looking for a Senior Spa Attendant who can ensure the highest possible standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the Bamford Wellness Spa. You will be responsible for the cleanliness of the whole Spa and surrounding areas and supervising a team of four Spa Attendants in their daily tasks, ensuring that all Spa, Wet room and Front and Back of House areas are kept according to standard.

You will ensure that all Spa Attendants deal with customers in a polite and professional manner, always able to assist with enquiries and requests. Under the guidance of the Assistant Spa Manager, you will make sure that the maintenance, hygiene and cleanliness is to the highest standards in all aspects of the operation, identifying training needs when necessary and effectively ensure that all procedures and requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner.

Main responsibilities

• Demonstrable leadership & organisational skills with a flexible attitude.

• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed leading by example.

• Manage all Spa Attendants by checking areas of responsibility that have been assigned to the team members and follow up to unsure that tasks and checklists have been completed.

• Liaise with the Assistant Spa Manager on updating SOP's, Risk Assessments and Health & Safety folder.

• Train all new team members and follow on boarding guidelines for new starters.

• Work with the Assistant Spa Manager on rotas, holiday, absence management.

• Set goals and KPIs with each team member and follow up on these at monthly catch ups and year end reviews.

• Have monthly catch up meetings with each Spa Attendant and carry out team training and development.

• Ensure all team members are logging maintenance correctly and faults are followed up.

• To carry out regular cleaning checks of the Spa to ensure cleaning standards are maintained.

• To co-ordinate the ordering, storage and control of consumables/amenities for the spa.

• To manage the storage and circulation of Laundry and spa linen, ensuring all areas are maintained in order by all team members.

• To train, monitor and allocate Spa Attendants to maintain standards and consistency of service throughout the Spa.

• Hold weekly team meetings and ensure issues and ideas are getting discussed and implement new ideas when possible.

• To ensure any guest requests and complaints are handled effectively and if unable to do so, ensure these are raised immediately to the appropriate level.

• Administrative duties and reception cover when required.

The successful candidate will:

• Previous experience of housekeeping management in a 5-star establishment.

• Previous experience of working in a Spa environment preferable.

• Experience of managing a team of housekeepers of Spa Attendants.

• Have a keen eye for detail, organisational skills and very high standards of work.

• Focus on taking a pride in the presentation of the Wellness Spa and the surroundings.

• Have good personal presentation.

• Be confident in speaking English.

• Have a warm, friendly and happy personality with a commitment to meeting the needs of our guests.

• Always striving for 5-star standards.

This position is a full-time role and will include working weekends, mornings, daytime and evening shifts on a rotational basis during the overall opening hours of the Spa.

Spa Attendant – Bamford Wellness Spa, Cotswolds

A nourishing space for self-reflection & rejuvenation, the space offers yoga, meditation & a range of holistic based treatments. We are looking for

A Spa background is not essential but preferred, as you must be able to demonstrate a high level of guest care from a previous customer facing position. As part of the team you will ensure the highest standards within the Spa are maintained at all times whilst supporting the Therapists in delivering a 5* service to our clients. You will need to be a confident communicator and possess excellent customer service skills. You will be comfortable handling any queries and complaints, be presentable, reliable and punctual, have excellent communication skills with a pleasant personality.

Part-time Spa Cafe Kitchen Assistant – Bamford Wellness Spa

Our Bamford family is growing, and we are looking for an engaging and passionate Part-time Spa Cafe Kitchen Assistant for our new Wellness Spa cafe. The position will be based at our beautiful Daylesford Farm in Kingham, Gloucestershire.

Full Time contract, based on 20 hours per week, straight shifts, no late nights.

About you

Working alongside the Head Chef and Chef de Partie, you will be able to help execute all dishes as per menu specs. Ideally, you’ll have worked with organic, seasonal produce in a health club environment, or you’ll just simply have a passion for healthy food so that the basics come easily to you.

Tasks to include

• Prepare and serve healthy dishes such breakfasts, salads, broths and smoothies.

• Label and stock all cooking ingredients.

• Prepare measured dosage of appropriate cooking ingredients and seasonings.

• Learning about our products/production.

• Ensure appropriate food and drink storage ensuring your section is fully set for the next day with fresh mis en place.

• Maintain a positive and professional approach to colleagues and guests.

• Keep kitchen area clean and tidy (wash dishes, sanitize kitchen surfaces etc).

• Ensure compliance to Health & Safety and Food Safety legislation.

Your natural confidence will enable you to understand calm and clear instruction during busy periods. You’ll be very organised and able to seamlessly coordinate your station.

Haybarn Spa & Massage Therapists (Full & Part time positions. Haybarn, Daylesford, Cotswolds)

About you

As a Spa Therapist, you will be required to perform the Bamford face and body treatment protocols after full training. You will also deliver other holistic therapies including Hot stones, Chakra’s and Crystals. Our environment is a beautiful, tranquil and healing space and all treatments reflect this and the Bamford philosophy. You will follow this philosophy to the highest professional standard.

Main responsibilities

• Undertake full assessment of clients’ requirements and suitability of treatments and products offered.

• Carry out Bamford treatments to the highest professional standard following full in-house training standards and procedures.

• Ensure exceptional familiarity with the all retail products and treatment and recommend to clients.

• Support the Spa Manager with any other ad-hoc duties

Qualifications/Requirements

• A must: NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent (e.g. ITEC/BETEC/CIDESCO)

• Minimum 1/2 years spa experience

• A positive, enthusiastic and flexible individual with a can-do attitude

• A genuine interest and passion for wellness/well-being/holistic approach

• Good use of the English language, written and verbal
