Club Manager – Bamford Warehouse, A Private Members Health Club

Our Bamford family is growing, and an exciting opportunity is available for a talented and passionate Club Manager to join our team.

Based at the beautiful Daylesford Farm in the Cotswolds, the ‘Warehouse’, a private members health club, is looking for an experienced and exceptional individual to take reigns of this exciting project.

The ‘Warehouse’ will consist of a state-of-the-art functional gym with exceptional personal trainers, remedial treatment rooms, cryotherapy chamber, group fitness studios, club lounge, in addition to stunning relaxation areas.

About the Role

As the Club Manager, you will be the proud face of the business an integral part of building the pre-opening management team with a focus on the structure, culture including values as well exceptional service standards throughout the entire business, recruitment and membership.

You will be responsible for the day to operation and quality of standards in this excellent multi-faceted business and the delivery of the highest levels of customer service to all members and guests.

Main responsibilities

• Lead, drive and take responsibility for all operational aspects of the Club including quality, team building, management and development, customer service, independent practitioners/contractors, personal training and events.

• Leading by example with passion for service quality and excellence across the entire ‘Warehouse’. You will ensure that service excellence is achieved and maintained at times.

• Implementing Club procedures and standards, whilst building an outstanding positive and supportive company culture.

• Managing P&L, working with the Managing Director and CFO to review and plan strategies to achieve agreed budgets.

• Managing the Membership team to achieve targets defined in the budget including new and renewal of memberships.

• Responsible for the service level performance of the club ensuring that finance and control procedures are implemented.

• You will lead a team responsible for the highest achievements in customer service and member interaction.

• Coordinate with key stakeholders at the Daylesford Events & F&B, Marketing, PR and the Bamford Haybarn Spa.

• Ensure that all standards for people, service, quality, cleanliness, health & safety, and ambience are met.

• Responsible for managing building maintenance and meeting compliance with all operational legislation especially Health & Safety.

Front of House / Retail Consultant – Haybarn Spa, South Kensington

Our Bamford family is growing, and we are looking for a talented and passionate Front of House/Retail Consultant to join us. Full time contract, based on 40 hours per week, competitive basic salary plus, commission – great earning potential!

About you

As a Front of House/Retail Consultant, you will be required to greet all clients and ensure they receive a 5* star service whilst in the Wellness Space. You will need to learn and maintain a high level of product knowledge to proactively engage with clients and maximise sales. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Wellness Space. You will follow the Bamford philosophy to the highest professional standard.

Main responsibilities

Ensure exceptional familiarity with the all retail products and treatment and recommend and maximise sales to all clients. Manage all client bookings, using our online system, whilst liaising with the Therapist team on their schedules to increase appointment occupancy. Ensure all treatment questionnaires are fully completed. Support the Spa Manager with any other ad-hoc duties.

Haybarn Spa & Massage Therapists (Full & Part time positions. Haybarn, Daylesford, Cotswolds)

About you

As a Spa Therapist, you will be required to perform the Bamford face and body treatment protocols after full training. You will also deliver other holistic therapies including Hot stones, Chakra’s and Crystals. Our environment is a beautiful, tranquil and healing space and all treatments reflect this and the Bamford philosophy. You will follow this philosophy to the highest professional standard.
