Inspired by our belief in the need to nurture body, mind and spirit in tandem, our first ever Virtual Wellness Retreat is designed to help you target four key aspects of your well-being: strength, energy, nourishment and peace.
We invite you to join us for a restorative day of connection, relaxation and self-reflection hosted virtually by our team of wellness practitioners from the Cotswolds. At a time when many are experiencing unease and anxiety our practitioners will help you turn to the intuitive healing abilities we each possess to regain balance. Join us on a day-long journey to strengthen your body, unearth healing energy from within, support your immune system through nutrition, and develop peace of mind.

Optimising movement and posture at home
During this session Vikrant will introduce you to five simple exercises that you can do at home on a daily basis to increase your health and fitness, improve your posture and optimise functional movements, such as sitting, lifting and pulling that you use in day-to-day life.
Vikrant has been a fitness expert for 15 years training clients across the globe. Now based in the Cotswolds, he creates a combination of different workout styles drawing from yoga, Pilates and higher intensity exercises to work on individual needs.
Unearth energy from within: chakra energy with yoga, crystals and sound
Healing is an inside-out process: we have the energy within us; we need to know how to tune into it. Chakras are the body’s seven main physical, mental and spiritual centres. Together they form the pathway to healing, rejuvenation and growth. Cristina will take you on a journey to understand how chakras, colours, crystals and sound are related before guiding you through a sequence that balances the endocrine system, responsible for regulating a range of bodily functions through the release of hormones, and chakra system to support spiritual healing.
Cristina is a resident yogi and healer at Bamford. She is an innovative spirit with a deep devotion to heart alchemy, which activates deep transformation, healing and true freedom.
Immune-supporting foods: Nutrition in tune with the seasons
Eating in sync with the seasons is essential to maintaining balance and harmony in the body, bringing many benefits to our body’s immune system. In this session, resident nutritionist Rhaya will share her knowledge on how to find natural, locally-available ingredients to nourish your body and how eating well can support you and your family at this time.
Rhaya is a qualified naturopath, nutritionist and herbalist who has been in practice for 30 years. She is the resident nutritionist at Daylesford in the Cotswolds.
Peace of mind: Yoga and positive psychology
This reflective session invites you to consider the interplay between logic and emotion. By introducing you to the intuitive tools that allow you to bring your awareness back to your own mind, Akshai will share his framework for developing a positive psychology – ultimately resulting in peace of mind.
Akshai lived in the Himalayas and was teaching classical hatha yoga before coming to England. His passion is to sync ageless wisdom with our modern world. He believes a good life can be designed strategically.
