Join Makiko Imato, our resident wellness practitioner, and learn how to soothe muscle tension and improve alignment at home. Focusing on the neck and shoulders, Makiko will take you through a series of postural checks and self-massage techniques to improve your upper body posture and release any myofascial tension. Improving your posture will keep bones and joints in the correct alignment so that muscles are being used properly and in turn preventing fatigue as the muscles are being used more efficiently, allowing the body to use less energy. You will leave this class with techniques to practice at home to improve your overall flexibility of the joints, and realign the position of the neck and shoulders.
