The goal of traditional yoga is to have a peaceful, clear mind in a sound, healthy body. Traditional hatha yoga is the aspect of yoga which approaches this goal through the physical side of the individual. On the beginners' level it includes bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), guided relaxation (savasana), and meditation (dhyana). By learning proper relaxation and meditation the body comes to its own natural state of health and ease. These practices also have profound effect on the mind making it more relaxed and centred.
Our expert practitioner and Yogi- Vettri- has studied the ancient Hatha yoga scriptures under the tradition of Kaivalyadhama, he is disciple of renowned yoga masters Sri Swamisatchidananda and he has taught yoga and meditation for over 20 years to students from all walks of life. He is author of the "Guide To Yogic Practices".
