The garments will biodegrade at the end of their life, leaving no trace. These durable, pure fabrics are also renewable, meaning they can be returned to the soil, feeding the land and contributing to new life.

Over 53% of the collection is produced in the UK – our largest proportion yet – to minimise the distance it travels to reach Bamford Wellness Spas and stores. 

Season after season, we continue to honour British makers, traditional techniques and home-grown producers. We have worked with artisans, from Scotland to London, to craft a range made with the earth in mind. 

PRESERVING TRADITION

Working with pioneering Indian textile mills, we celebrate the fusion of traditional craftmanship with modern Indian design. Bamford is passionate about preserving time-honoured, traditional craft, working with selected Indian textile mills, that proudly use natural fibres, for over 10 years. 

DRESSED BY NATURE

To maintain the circularity of the textiles that Bamford uses, 32% of the collection is made from pure cotton, 26% linen and 21% cashmere, among several other sustainable, natural fibres.

Returning to Bamford’s roots, this season’s colour palette remains classic. Soft wide-leg trousers, slim waistcoats and draped wraps in heritage silhouettes are dipped in inky ocean marine and navy tones to evoke visions of sun-soaked coastlines, contrasted with white knits and linens. 

All of the pieces style effortlessly with one another, creating a cohesive, interchangeable capsule. Inspired by movement, flowing fabrics and voluminous shapes effortlessly fall over the frame. Whether a sudden downpour or an unexpected heatwave, each one is crafted with the everchanging British forecast in mind. From cool linen dresses to waterproof cotton skirts, these are pieces to rely upon, to see you through the seasons.

Caring for your clothing   

Our collections are designed to be timeless and transcend seasonal trends. And, with the right care, they can last you a lifetime thanks to their natural composition. With this in mind, we chose to create this year’s Spring–Summer collection with 95% natural fibres to minimise the release of microplastics during washing and laundering.

In addition, 38% of knitwear in this collection – made in the Umbria region of Italy – is cleaned using traditional washing methods combining water collected from a local rain saver, lemon juice, bicarbonate of soda and vinegar to limit chemical use.

We ask that you continue our sustainable efforts and those of the artisans we collaborate with by consciously caring for your garments at home. Choose to spot-clean and airdry each piece wherever possible – which uses considerably less water than regular machine washing – to reduce your impact on the environment and extend the lifespan of each garment.
